Pre-production, production and post. One shared vision.

Three Amigos was founded by Demian Sabini and Xes Vilà, bringing together two complementary backgrounds: Demian in production and directing, and Xes in CGI and VFX.

Together, we developed our virtual production workflow by connecting the practical needs of a shoot with the craft of creating digital images. That collaboration now extends into generative AI, combining live action, CGI and guided AI workflows.

Our approach grows out of that shared background: understand the production, design the right process and bring every element together in the final frame.

How we approach a project

Clear decisions at each step, from visual direction to delivery.

  1. Define the shot

    Start with the brief, references, intended format, and delivery requirements. Identify what should be captured on set and what belongs in post.

  2. Test the approach

    Develop the visual direction and review the workflow before committing to production. Discuss where virtual production or AI-assisted content fits the brief.

  3. Produce and refine

    Bring the agreed elements together through production and compositing, with review points and delivery formats defined for the project.
